R. James Woolsey served as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1993 to 1995. As such, he obviously knows a lot more about whether or not UFOs and alien technology are real things that the United States government has encountered.
Recently, Woolsey co-wrote with former acting chief of Communist Romania’s espionage service, Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa a book titled Operation Dragon: Inside The Kremlin’s Secret War on America.
In the book, Woolsey claims that the Soviet Union is the reason why President John F. Kennedy was assasinated. He says that while the Soviets ordered the hit on JFK, at some point between June and April 1963 the they changed their mind and told Lee Harvey Oswald to call off the assassination, but he went ahead and did it anyway.
It’s an amazing conspiracy theory, if you can even call it that.
That story, however, is nothing compared to the discussion he had with The Black Vault last week in which he discussed his feelings about the existence of aliens and if UFOs are real or not.
Woolsey, 79, who served under Bill Clinton, told The Black Vault, “There have been, over the years now, events of one kind of another, usually involving some kind of aircraft-like airframe.”
He continued, “I never thought there was anything to all this, it always seemed pretty far out to me. Don’t know what the reality is, but… there was one case in which a friend of mine was able to have his aircraft stop at 40,000 feet or so and not continue operating as a normal aircraft.
“What was going on? I don’t know. Does anybody know? We’ll have to look into it.
“There have just been enough things like that that have occurred that I think there will be a lot of examination of what’s going on over the course of several months or maybe years.”
Woolsey and host John Greenwald, Jr. then discussed Obama’s CIA director John Brennan’s recent comments in which he said, “I think it’s a bit presumptuous and arrogant for us to believe that there’s no other form of life anywhere in the entire universe.”
They also touched on Trump’s director of national intelligence John Ratcliffe recently admitting “there are a lot more sightings than have been made public” and that the UFOs that were recorded were capable of “movements that are hard to replicate that we don’t have the technology for, or traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.”
Woolsey was also asked if these UFOs are in actuality just human technology that the public has just not been made aware of yet, or technology that’s been created by one branch of the military that hasn’t even been shared with the others.
He says he is aware of aircraft that can perform “in a fashion that not yet come to be something that people are comfortable with or expect to see. That’s about as far as I’d like to go.”
He also admitted during the interview, “I’m not as skeptical as I was a few years ago, to put it mildly, but something is going on that is surprising to a series of intelligent aircraft, experienced pilots.”
It will certainly be very interesting to see what is contained in the Pentagon report on UFOs that the Senate Intelligence Committee requested and that’s expected to be released by June 1.
