Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna slammed the Pentagon for missing the April 14 deadline to release 46 specific UFO videos. Luna wrote a letter to the U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, requesting the videos of UAPs (what the government now calls UFOs) on April 1. Luna is the chairwoman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets.
“The lack of disclosure regarding the very real threat posed by UAPs in and around U.S. restricted airspace is concerning,” Luna said in the letter. “The Task Force has found responses from AARO [All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office], when questioned about UAP sightings and provided data, less than adequate. The presence of UAPs in and around the sensitive airspaces of U.S. military installations poses a threat to the security of the armed forces and their readiness.”
Numerous military-recorded encounters featuring spherical, cigar-shaped, and Tic Tac-like UFOs spotted over war zones, oceans, and sensitive airspace worldwide were included in the list of requested UFO videos. They include UFO recordings made near Iran and Syria, U.S. military bases, airports, and the incident over Lake Huron.
Congresswoman calls out the Pentagon for ignoring her requests
Tuesday afternoon, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna slammed the Pentagon for letting the deadline pass without releasing the UFO videos that were requested.
“No one from the Pentagon had responded until we reached out, and it appears that someone did not pass the letter to the appropriate authorities. How convenient,” she wrote on X “Nonetheless, we will be getting the requested list. We are not waiting for a briefing at some unspecified future date. The Secretary of War is someone I consider a friend and someone who backs the President. The President has authorized the release, so whoever is trying to be cute at the Pentagon can take a hike.”
President Donald Trump made a similar request in February
Back in February, President Donald Trump pledged to reveal any government records on aliens and UFOs.
“Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War… to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs),” Trump wrote on Truth Social on February 19.
Almost two months later, and even with another request from the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, none of the footage or records have been released.
