Dallas Cowboys‘ cornerback Trevon Diggs had plans to attend the Beyonce concert tonight at AT&T Stadium, but fate had different plans for him.

Earlier today, Diggs suffered a devastating injury during practice, tearing his ACL, and bringing an early end to his season.

Diggs, who celebrated his 25th birthday just two days ago on September 20th, had gone all out to commemorate the occasion, according to Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Diggs had purchased a suite at AT&T Stadium for the Beyonce concert, planning to enjoy the event in style.

The cornerback even had a silver outfit meticulously prepared for the night, only to find himself unable to attend due to the injury.

Known as one of the standout players on the Dallas Cowboys’ roster, Diggs had recently inked a contract extension during the offseason.

The lucrative 5-year deal was valued at an impressive $97 million, with potential bonuses that could push the total value to an astounding $104 million.

This untimely injury comes as a significant blow to both Diggs and the Cowboys, who are 2-0, with the talented cornerback now sidelined for the remainder of the season.

The timing couldn’t be more unfortunate, considering Diggs’ birthday and his plans.
