American curler Matt Hamilton has got unbelievable swag and the internet has taken notice.

He’s without a doubt the most American American at the Winter Games in China.

Not only is he rocking one of the all time best mullets, he’s got a killer ‘stache, and was spotted rocking a pair of “What The” Paul Rodriguez Nike SB Dunks with some Rick & Morty socks while he was competing!

Hamilton is a bit of a sneakerhead, so some friends bought him a pair from the collection of skateboarding champion Paul Rodriguez. They were converted to curling shoes by attaching a gripper on one sole and a slider on the other.

“I just thought they’re sweet,” Hamilton said before the Americans opened their gold medal defense with a round-robin match against the Russians. “Here we are with some wild shoes.”

But hey, don’t take the media’s word for all of that. Hamilton himself checked in on a Reddit thread that was hyping up his incredible drip.

“For anyone wondering, they are indeed the ‘what the p-rod’s’ and I did have them altered for curling,” Hamilton replied. “Teflon on the left shoe for sliding, a soft rubber attached to the right for grip, and a toe dip (tough toe) on my right shoe to reduce drag while sliding.”
