Drake Will Rap About ‘Fortnite’ On One Condition – If A ‘Hotline Bling’ Emote Is Added

Drake is just like us and loves to play some Fortnite in his free time. But Drake is still Drake and he is a massive celebrity who is an incredible draw. During a recent Fortnite gaming session, Drake teased possibly rapping about Fortnite Battle Royale, but only on one condition.

Last month, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins shattered the Twitch record for most-viewed stream by one player by assembling an all-star group that included NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster, rapper Travis Scott, and Drake to play Fortnite Battle Royale. Then again this week, Drake joined Ninja, who makes $500,000 a month as a professional gamer and Twitch streamer. During Tuesday’s Fortnite gaming session, Drake waged a $5,000 donation to Ninja if he won the Fortnite battle, but Blevins won the match.

During the recent Fortnite stream, Blevins told Drake, “Dude, you gotta put some Fortnite lingo on the album.” Drake responded that he would release some Fortnite fire on one condition. “It has to happen, it’s just gotta be the right way,” Drake said. “Someone’s gonna do it. Someone’s gonna pull it off. I say when Epic gives me the emote, when Epic gives me the ‘Hotline Bling’ emote, I’ll do it. Until then, I’m on strike.”

Drake was a step ahead of Ninja and said that producer Murda Beatz has already experimented with sampling Fortnite in songs. An in-game dance based on the often-memed Drake dance from the “Hotline Bling” music video would crush with gamers. Your move Epic Games, get it done.
