Best Job Ever? Company Wants To Pay Someone To Watch 20 Marvel Movies Leading Up To ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Objectively speaking, I have a pretty great job. It has a lot of flexibility, the trips and travel aspect has always been fun. It’s great. But this job listing from CableTV sounds like the dream.

We’re only a few weeks away from Avengers: Endgame being released. It hits theaters on April 26th and Marvel will continue to abso-fucking-lutely dominate the box office with Captain Marvel still holding the #1 spot. If you’re into these movies, and I assume you are because you clicked this article, then check out this description.

The gist is this: they’re paying $1,000 to someone who is willing to watch 20 Marvel movies leading up to the Avengers: Endgame premiere. The films are broken out into three MCU phases and for some reason Captain Marvel isn’t listed as one of the films, the requirements only run through Ant-Man and the Wasp:

True Marvel aficionados already know the films but, as a refresher, here are Phases 1, 2, and 3 of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. Here’s how it breaks down:

MCU Phase 1

Iron Man (2008)
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
Iron Man 2 (2010)
Thor (2011)
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
The Avengers (2012)

MCU Phase 2

Iron Man 3 (2013)
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Ant-Man (2015)

MCU Phase 3

Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Doctor Strange (2016)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Black Panther (2018)
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

The job listing is here on CableTV’s website, and they make note of not including a few of the films:

We’re not including movies outside of the MCU, like Deadpool, X-Men, Fantastic Four, earlier Spider-Man films, and certainly not Ghost Rider—you’re welcome. Also excluded are tangentially related Marvel/Netflix series like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage.

They *STILL* neglect to mention Captain Marvel which is odd.

Here’s what the job pays and what else is included:
