In addition to her new single and upcoming third album, Lipa also has a growing acting career in the works, as she appeared in the biggest film of 2023, Barbie, as Mermaid Barbie, and recorded the lead single for the film, the Grammy-nominated “Dance the Night.”

She’s also set to have what appears to be quite a prominent role in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming action comedy Argylle.

Alongside Lipa, who appears to be playing some sort of villainous seductress, Argylle also stars Sam Rockwell, Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, John Cena, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Samuel L. Jackson, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, Rob Delaney, Sofia Boutella, and more.

Argylle will hit theaters in the United States on Friday, February 2 before eventually streaming on AppleTV+.

As for Lipa’s newest studio album, which will be her third following 2017’s self-titled Dua Lipa and 2020’s Grammy Award-winning Future Nostalgia, the official title and release date of the project have not yet been announced.
