Warner Bros. has dropped a new trailer for Dune: Part Two, the follow-up to 2021’s Dune that’s scheduled to hit movie theaters in the United States on Friday, November 3.

Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Alongside Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya in the lead roles, Dune: Part Two also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem. Actors such as Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Léa Seydoux, and Christopher Walken have also joined the cast for the sequel.
Dune: Part Two is the sixth American movie in Villeneuve’s acclaimed career following Prisoners (2013), Sicario (2015), Arrival (2016), Blade Runner 2049 (2017), and Dune in 2021. The 55-year-old Canadian has also directed films such as August 32nd on Earth, Maelström, Polytechnique, Incendies, and Enemy (which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and is in English but is not an American-made film).
The film is one of two major movie roles for Zendaya this year, as she’s also set to star in Luca Guadagnino’s tennis drama Challengers, which garnered tons of attention following the release of its steamy first trailer earlier this month.
The same can be said of Chalamet, as he’ll also be starring as Willy Wonka in the upcoming origin story film about the character, which hails from Paddington director Paul King and is set to release in December.
