Microsoft brought out the big guns for their E3 2018 presentation and there is a lot to be excited about. From the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Microsoft announced around 50 games and 20 exclusives and teased new chapters to fan favorites such as Halo, Fallout, Crackdown, Forza, and Kingdom Hearts III.

Halo Infinite

The Master Chief is BACK! Halo Infinite is the next installment of the science fiction first-person shooter from 343 Industries and the game will focus more on Master Chief more than 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians. Phil Spencer, Microsoft’s head of Xbox, said Halo Infinite will be the character’s “greatest adventure” yet. The trailer for Halo Infinite was an engine demo, and not necessarily what the final product will be. The new engine is called Slipspace and it looks extraordinary. The graphics are glorious and the new creatures look tremendous. “The E3 demo showcases some of the exciting potential of this technology–everything you see is running in-engine,” 343 said. Halo Infinite does not have a release date, but you should not expect this video game any time soon.

Fallout 76

Bethesda teased Fallout 76 last week, but it revealed little. Now we get the first official trailer and it looks fantastic. Bethesda says that Fallout 76 will be big, real big. The world in Fallout 76 will be four times larger than Fallout 4, making it the largest Fallout game yet. The game will be set in the rolling hills of West Virginia where “you are one of the first to emerge into a very different and untamed wasteland.” Based on the trailer it appears that nature is attempting to take back the land as greenery covers everything.

Crackdown 3

Terry Crews’ character Commander Jaxon might need a lozenge after yelling so much in the trailer for Crackdown 3. The action-packed footage shows Commander Jaxon destroying everything in his path. Creative director Dave Jones said the game’s multiplayer mode “will redefine what it feels like to play games.” The supercop video game was originally supposed to be released on November 7, 2017, delayed to 2018, and now it is due to arrive in February 2019.

Forza Horizon 4

The sequel to 2016’s Forza Horizon 3 was on display during Microsoft’s E3 2018 showcase. The super realistic driving game is back and Forza Horizon 4 comes off more of an arcade racer. You’ll have a massive roster of supercars to speed around an open world in Britain. Developer Playground Games will allow gamers to explore, drift, or do whatever their racing heart desires. Forza Horizon 4 is optimized for gorgeous 4K on the Xbox One X. Forza Horizon 4 races to Xbox One on October 2nd.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Microsoft teased Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the sequel to 2015’s Ori and the Blind Forest. The new chapter of the game will feature a much larger world and new puzzles. The game will be released in 2019 and will be an exclusive for Xbox One and Windows 10.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Do you want to build a snowman? Well, you’re in luck because you’ll be able to in the Disney-themed RPG. Joining Mickey, Goofy, and Donald are Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kirstoff, and Sven. Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch on January 29, 2019, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
