Eminem Tosses Out Praise To Comedian Chris D’Elia For His ‘Incredible’ Impression Of Him

Eminem is one of the greatest rappers and lyricists ever, so when someone tries to impersonate him, that person better come with some hardcore effort, otherwise the Internet is going to pounce on them for a lazy-ass attempt. Lucky for comedian Chris D’Elias, he’s shown to have some serious skills when imitating Em — and the rapper himself applauded D’Elia on his talent.

For those who haven’t seen Chris D’Elias’ impression of Eminem, my colleague here, Matt Keohan, wrote about him last week, giving him props for a hilarious video of the comedian rapping. After getting the attention of a bunch of different people around the Interwebs, we finally know what Eminem thinks, and it’s some high praise. Take a look at what the real rapper tweeted out yesterday upon seeing the video.

It’s one thing to be told that your impression of a legendary rapper is “incredible,” it’s a whole different level when it comes from the rapper himself, who also adds in that he “thought it was me” for a second. Talk about an awesome day, right?

After seeing Eminem’s tweet, Chris D’Elia replied back, showing some love to Marshall Mathers.

Looks like we’ve got a full-blown man crush between Eminem and Chris D’Elia now, which makes me wonder if there’s any possible way that the two collab on something funny — because isn’t that what the Internet world needs? Let’s make it happen, guys, because I’m pretty much over watching people botch the lyrics to “Lose Yourself” and resorting to only saying, “mom’s spaghetti” over and over.

Here’s another video of D’Elia flowing as Eminem.

Given D’Elia’s talent, and Eminem’s approval, I can only hope that the comedian keeps flowing and putting out other videos of him rapping, because these things are A+ on so many levels.
