The new $2 billion Sphere at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas is a true modern marvel.

With 580,000 square feet of LED lighting, standing 366 feet tall and spanning 516 feet across, will soon be hosting some of the biggest names in show business.

It contains approximately 18,000 seats and those who have been inside the incredible structure have come away blown away by what they witnessed.

One of those events is Postcard from Earth, a “a sci-fi journey deep into our future” directed by Darren Aronofsky.

It has also begun hosting a series of concerts by legendary rock band U2 and video from the first show looked absolutely incredible.

And, naturally, Dana White has already said he can’t wait to hold a UFC fight card inside the venue.

Pretty much any event one attends at the Sphere is going to be a visual shock to the system.

So, apparently, are the prices for concessions.

On Monday, someone on Reddit posted a photo of the cost of drinks inside the Sphere and whoa, be sure you have enough room on your credit card before you go there.

$30 for a “specialty” cocktail, $20 for a margarita, $18 or $19 for a draft beer, $20 for a glass of wine, $14 for a “souvenir” soda and $7 for some water will result in quite the bill.

“This is why we drink for the pre-game and do drugs at the venue,” one person commented.

“I tell everyone that the cheapest place to drink in Vegas is Walgreens,” another suggested.

“And this is why you always sneak in booze to venues like this,” someone else joked (kind of).

Then again, this is Vegas we’re talking about, so really, it’s kind of expected.

Especially when you see the prices for drinks at a Florida Panthers game…

Suddenly, concession prices at The Sphere almost look like a bargain, don’t they?
