  • Sticking your hand in a jaguar’s cage is a bad idea.
  • A Florida man learned that lesson the hard way and it led to an amazing interview from a kid at the zoo.

‘Florida Man’ is back and this time he’s getting his hand ripped up.

Earlier this week, Jacksonville Zoo employees witnessed a man jump over a gate at the ‘Rang of the Jaguar’ exhibit and stick his hand into the cage. Prior to jumping the barrier, the man was getting the jaguars riled up and egging them on

Needless to say, it didn’t end well. The giant wild animal reacted to the stranger in its environment and clawed him.

Shocker, right?

The man, who was described as in his 20s, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, he left a pool of blood behind.

Everything about this Florida Man’s decision was ill-advised. It’s pretty common knowledge that messing with one of the jungle’s most vicious animals and then presenting raw flesh to said vicious animal is a terrible idea.

‘Florida Man’ leaves questions for ‘Montana Kid’

While the stupidity is undeniable, we are the better for it. It led to a tremendous sound bite from an inquisitive Montana kid who happened to be at the zoo that day.

Anthony Gama, who looks to be about 10 or 12 (I’m a terrible judge of age), was interviewed by News 4 Jax and was set out for answers.

“I want to follow the trail of blood and I want to see if we can find this guy because I was wondering if he got bit up here, down here… or if he literally just got his whole arm ripped off,” he said.

Everything about his response is amazing. It’s not every day that you stumble across a trail of blood at the zoo— you have to follow it, right?

Gama had questions and he deserves answers!!
