A man has gone viral after sharing his reaction to a popular Panama City Beach resort. Needless to say, Shores of Panama didn’t meet his expectations.
Panama City Beach is a known, albeit underrated spring break destination. But TikToker Wes (@wesl1313) was not impressed during his stay.
Wes is on the 20th floor and says it took 30 minutes to wait for an elevator.
As he approaches his door, Room 2021, the door is covered in grey splotches that appear to be mold. When he opens the door, he highlights how half the bracket is hanging off the wall. He then points out the brown carpet, calling it “hideous.” After this, Wes points to the squeaky kitchen faucet, where the tap itself is loose. He then opens the cupboard under the sink. The wall the pipes are attached to under the sink seems to have a strip of grey mold, causing Wes to say that’s “nothing but mold” and that it “smells just like mold.”
The microwave part of the kitchen unit is broken, he says. As an alternative, he shows another microwave in the corner of the kitchen island.
He then directs the camera to the curtains, which are full of stains. The curtains are sheer, meaning that, according to him, there is “no privacy whatsoever.”
Wes also points to a hole in the backside of a light.
As for the toilet, Wes claims that it “never works.”
Things Get Worse
The TikToker then moves on to the master bedroom with the en suite.
In the bathroom, he notes how there was good water pressure but that the drain doesn’t work. “So, you can enjoy great water pressure while your feet standing in nothing but nastiness,” he says.
Adding to the chaos, he shows how there’s a toilet paper hanger coming off the wall along with grime around the corners and ridge of the bathroom mirror. His next focus is spots of worn-away paint on a TV stand.
The other bedroom wasn’t much better, as he noted how the “nasty a– carpet” was wrinkled.
Ultimately, he describes it as a “terrible experience.”
“This whole place is just disgusting. All the TVs barely even work,” he says.
Wes then goes out on the balcony, which had an admittedly “great view.” However, he notes how the light doesn’t work, looks old, and has a sizable hole in it. Some of his final observations include a stained floor and a fridge that didn’t work for two days. “So, if you booked a vacation to Shores of Panama, just be aware of 2021,” he warns, adding that it is “absolutely terrible and disgusting.”
BroBible reached out to Wes via TikTok direct message and the Shores of Panama via contact form.

Similar Issues In Other Popular Vacation Spots
His video has 368,400 views. Commenters are broadly supportive.
“The horror stories I have heard from Shores of Panama this year,” one wrote.
“We love PCB but that’s why we refuse to overpay for a room,” a second shared. “It used to be ‘You get what you pay for’ but now you can’t even trust that. Gotta read the reviews before booking.”
A third remarked that this was the “1st time [they’ve] seen a realistic review of this place.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commenter took a more measured approach, saying, “As a local, I can confirm your gripes about said property it’s not my favorite. But also not all units are this bad, some have actually been taken care of and look really nice!”
But others were staunchly against the accommodation.
“The door is enough for me,” a fifth commented, while a sixth opined, “Carpet in a beach condo is diabolical.”
As it turns out, it’s quite common for disgruntled holidaymakers to take to TikTok about their subpar vacation experiences.
Back in May, TikToker @thenewbys.1 went viral after he and his wife gave viewers a tour of their Carnival Cruise cabin. It might have been a short clip, but based on the horrors that were going on inside, that was all that was needed to amass 7.6 million views.
In the video, some of the problems showcased included a narrow walkway, a strangely angled toilet, and, most disturbingly, a significantly stained carpet. “Carnival will not be seeing us again!” they said in the video description. “Royal we love you! Call us bougie but we cannot 2/10 for us!”
