Videos Show Meteors Are Finally Hitting ‘Fortnite’ And Epic Games Teases Superheroes In Season 4

Last month we were all wondering what the mysterious light in the sky of Fortnite was, possibly comets. Now that light has manifested into meteors that are finally hitting the Fortnite battlegrounds. Gamers are posting videos of the fiery space rocks crashing down on Earth as seen here on Reddit and Twitter.

There was speculation that the meteors were put in the video game to destroy the Tilted Towers, but the meteors are hitting everywhere on the map and destroying anything in their path. Now the meteors could be blowing up the map for a new Season 4 map or they could be bringing aliens into the Fortnite world. Maybe superhero aliens?

Epic Games posted this graphic that shows a woman who looks an awful lot like Wonder Woman, but just slightly different as to not get sued, as well as a man who looks an awful lot like Flash, but just slightly different as to not get sued. The two possible alien superheroes are in the tail of a comet. The teaser images say “Fight with Honor” and “Battle. Adapt. Win.”

So maybe the comets and meteors aren’t comets and meteors at all, but rather alien spacecraft. When players zoom in on these unidentified flying objects in the sky they make a weird noise and some say it is Morse code that when translated says, “They don’t want us to k…” Could this be a full-scale invasion where players have to stop fighting each other and unite to destroy the alien invasion? We’ll find out soon enough because Fortnite Season 3 ends on April 30th and Season 4 starts soon after.
