If you’ve watched any episodes of Game of Thrones you understand that the hit TV show is extremely violent. However, the final season of Game of Thrones will be the most violent ever. Now that is saying something.

The last six episodes of Season 8 is nearly upon us and it is going to be a bloodfest according to Sophie Turner. The actress who plays Sansa Stark says (at the 14-minute mark) that the final season will feature “more death than all the years before.”

“I can tell you that there’s definitely a coming together of people,” Turner said in an interview with Gold Derby. “Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom. There’s a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right. It’s Game of Thrones, so it’s going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before.”

Turner also spoke about her character’s evolution throughout the series. “I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don’t think other people really saw,” she said. “I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting and at some point or another it was going to manifest itself somehow, and she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I’m really happy where this storyline for her has ended up.”

More torturous than the first seven seasons? What says you Shireen Baratheon?

So there are some people who may disagree with Sansa Stark and they are entitled to their opinion. However, it is reasonable to question Season 8 to be “bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before,” especially since there have been at least 174,373 deaths for the first seven seasons. We’re talking about Game of Thrones here. That’s like saying, “the Cleveland Browns will be even worse next year.”

Sophie’s connection is rather piss-poor in the interview, getting a decent internet signal in the Shadow Lands is tough.

In related Sophie Turner news, the Game of Thrones actress now has very blonde hair. One might say, she has Khaleesi hair.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays Jaime Lannister revealed that there is one particular scene that was so barbarous that it was too difficult for him to even read and he revealed how expensive the last season is. The final six episodes of Game of Thrones will air sometime in 2019 where we will anxiously await the complete carnage.
