Google Play has released their lists of January trends and what new stuff is coming up in February, including their top trending and most popular apps, games, books, and more.
If you’ve been hearing people saying “Ok Google, read my book,” it’s because audiobooks are now on Google Play. As for what else folks have been listening to of late, they celebrated the New Year with Google Play’s number one streamed song, “rockstar (feat. 21 Savage)” by Post Malone. Listeners also belted out their favorite songs from The Greatest Showman (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), which held the number one album spot in January.
For the more visual people, movie lovers enjoyed the sci-fi world of Blade Runner 2049 and avoided sewer openings after watching IT, the top two movies in the Play Store.
