Punxsutawney Phil! Dilly Dilly!
For the sake of weather prediction, a bunch of old dudes in Central Pennsylvania woke up early to put on tuxedos and top hats, then grabbed a groundhog from a tree for the annual tradition that’s totally normal and definitely not weird. Yup – it’s Groundhog Day again and this year we saw Jeff Lundy, Vice President & Fair Weatherman of The Punxsutawney Groundhog Club’s Inner Circle, drop some sweet, sweet rhymes to report that 132-year-old Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this morning. So, Jeff reports that Phil predicts six more weeks of Winter but of course he followed the weather report with a fan-favorite chant of Dilly! Dilly! to pump up the thousands of Phil fans in attendance.
