Protip: If you are going to steal a famous person’s car or truck and lead police on a wild chase, try stealing a vehicle with a better turning radius than Marshmello’s $500K custom 6×6 SEMA truck.
That being said, God love this dumb criminal who did just that because the epic video that followed almost makes me want to move to Los Angeles.
I mean, when the local Fox station has a special section of their website devoted just to police car chases, that’s a place I want to be.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the hitmaker’s truck was stolen from a local Ford dealer Wednesday while it was getting serviced. We’re told the keys were in the truck … allowing the suspect to hop in and hit the town.
We’re told L.A. County Sheriff’s Deputies, and later CHP, tried to pull over the truck for reckless driving but the suspect took off … kicking off a wild police chase through Los Angeles. The driver’s ultimate demise? Taco Bell.
After pulling into a Taco Bell parking lot … it tore out and crashed into a utility pole while trying to make a turn. The suspect was arrested for felony evading and possession of a stolen car.
Look at this thing…

Watch this maniac. Cops tried a PIT maneuver and a spike strip and he just kept on rolling.

According to the local CBS affiliate KCAL9, dude just rode up to the dealership on a bicycle, threw the bike in the back of the DJ’s truck and drove away.
Mind you, we’re talking about a truck that, depending on which news outlet you believe, is worth between $350,000 and $500,000.
KCAL9 also says Marshmello’s manager was the one who dropped the truck off at the dealership for service, so naturally, he shared video of the police chase on social media because of course he did.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the suspect “may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs.”
