From 2001 to 2011, it was a Harry Potter world. It’s seven books and eight movies absolutely dominated popular culture throughout the 2000’s.
Since then, things have cooled down a little bit. There has been a play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Universal Studios still has the popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter. And then there are the Fantastic Beasts book and planned film series. But the craze has at least died down a little bit.
After all, it’s been 17 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone premiered in theaters setting off Harry Potter mania with people of all ages.
So what’s happened to many of the cast members of the Harry Potter film series since it came to an end in 2011? Thanks to the folks over at Screen Rant, who created a video explaining just that below, we actually have some answers to that question.
We also have the magic of social media now. Something that certainly would have changed the whole dynamic between Harry and the gang had it been as prevalent back then as it is now.
