Hugh Jackman is in Wolverine shape, that’s for sure.
With production on Deadpool 3 being put on hold during the summer due to the still-ongoing actors’ strike, Jackman has had to maintain his famed superhero physique (and bear, for that matter) for quite a few months now.
Given how famously jacked Jackman gets when he plays Wolverine, though, it certainly looks like it hasn’t been much of a struggle for the 54-year-old, as he showed up to the Sunday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets looking absolutely YOLKED.
The video of him arriving at MetLife Stadium with Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, and the rest of the crew, in particular, shows off Jackman’s back looking like a brick wall through his black t-shirt.

As for why Jackman, Reynolds, and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy were hanging out with Taylor Swift, there’s been some speculation that the pop star might appear as the Marvel Comics character known as Dazzler in the film.
Speaking of Deadpool 3, the actors’ strike might actually wind up being a blessing in disguise for the film, as it was previously shooting during the writers’ strike (which is now over), which meant they weren’t allowed to make edits to the script, which mean they weren’t able to improvise any lines, which is obviously a strength of both Reynolds and the Deadpool character.
At this time, Deadpool 3 — which will be the first R-rated movie in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe — is currently scheduled to hit movie theaters in the United States on Friday, May 3. However, given the actors’ strike, it’s doubtful that Marvel Studios will be able to have the film ready by then.
In addition to Jackman, Reynolds, and potentially Taylor Swift, Deadpool 3 also stars Owen Wilson, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Jennifer Garner, and more.
