Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, real name Amethyst Amelia Kelly, is back in the news.
The 32-year-old has garnered a ton of headlines after taking an interesting approach to promoting her new project ‘Hotter Than Hell’, which is tied to her forthcoming fourth studio album.
Iggy Azalea is a massive, massive star. OF getting her to sign up and post content is a major win for the platform. Likewise, it could lead to a huge financial windfall for Iggy who has an estimated net worth of $15 million.
After joining OF, rumors began to circulate that Azalea earned $307,000 in the first 24 hours (Tuesday).
The UK Metro even reported that she earned $441,500 in her first 24 hours on OF.
Iggy Azalea says those reports are wrong. She also says she’s not going to reveal how much money she earns on the platform in the same way she didn’t reveal how much she made for selling her music catalog.

She is certainly having a moment right now. It’s a major bounceback from the ‘Freestyle’ that went viral years ago in addition to the other scandals that derailed her fame.

After that performance, a Las Vegas Raiders beat writer complained about Iggy’s effort:

That complaint eventually came to Azalea’s attention, and she opted to allude to the bag she received for the show while hitting Reed with a response that exuded some incredible “DON’T CAAAAARE” energy.

Anyways, she’s back. Iggy is now putting up content on her OF and while she won’t reveal the earnings she’s teased the content some. Later in the day, Iggy Azalea posted this which inexplicably got 150 retweets:
