Woman Orders Fries At In-N-Out. Then She Gets Screwed Over By Car In Front Of Her That Ordered ‘Well Done’

A woman picked up her order of fries from the In-N-Out drive-thru and opened the bag to take a bite. When she saw the texture of the fries, she blamed the car in front of her for asking the fast-food chain to make them “well done.”

In a video with over 1.8 million views, TikToker Drey (@audreygsanchez) sits in the driver’s seat of her car and grabs a few fries. She points out the audible crunching sound when she takes a bite.

“To the person in front of me at In-N-Out who ordered their fries well done, I hate you,” she says. On-screen text reads, “I didn’t deserve this.”

Presumably, the fast-food chain’s workers made an entire batch of “well done” fries rather than cooking them extra long for one customer only.

Are In-N-Out’s Fries Best While Soggy?

Commenters quickly began to debate whether In-N-Out‘s fries should be soggy or crunchy. Many agreed with the TikToker that In-N-Out should keep its infamous soggy fries available.

“I LOVE soggy fries. its the only correct way,” one wrote.

Baby that’s chips,” another said.

However, well-done fries lovers pushed back, calling their soggy counterparts “gross.”

“Oh no.. my steak is too juicy and my lobster is too buttery,” a viewer joked.

A second remarked, “Well done fries are GOATED what are you saying.”

The fact that people LIKE soggy fries is insane to me,” another added.

A fourth commented, “THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THEY ARE EDIBLE!! If not they soggy.”

Can You Order Soggy Fries?

While customers can order well-done fries for extra crunch, the opposite may also be true. In-N-Out customers share their ordering tips to make sure they get soggy fries on the r/innout subreddit.

“I would say order them slightly light . This is because it’s the closest to the limp/soft fry that are usually at the bottom of the regular fries,” one said. “Fries light will be very mushy and undercooked and probably not what you’re looking for.”

Another explained the cooking levels for the fries, writing, “Extra light – very soft/mushy/barely cooked. Reg light – soft mushy. Slightly light – barely a difference from a reg fry.”

A third commented on the subreddit, “Light or extra light I recommend light tho I feel extra light is just a uncook French frie.”

Workers on the subreddit also weighed in on the “extra light” soggy fries some customers order.

One explained, “Lol every time someone orders an extra light we joke about the next step (extra extra light) being dunking them in the oil and immediately pulling them out.”
