Inside Amy Schumer, the Comedy Central sketch comedy series that helped turn Amy Schumer into a relatively well-known comedian has been removed from the Paramount+ streaming service.

While the official landing page for the series has been deleted from Comedy Central’s website, the synopsis for the series was as follows: “Featuring a mix of sketch and stand-up, comedian Amy Schumer shares her sharp and funny insights on feminism, entertainment, and modern life.”

Schumer’s series is just one of many shows that have been removed from Paramount+ in recent weeks, including Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Star Trek: Prodigy, The Game, Queen of the Universe, From Cradle to Stage, Tell Me a Story, and Ghislaine: Partner in Crime.

Paramount has also removed a handful of movies from Paramount+, including Fantasy Football and Snow Day.

The Nickelodeon brand might have been the hardest hit by the Paramount+ purge, as series such as All In With Cam Newton, Allegra’s Window, Becca’s Bunch, Bella and the Bulldogs, Crashletes, Digby Dragon, The Fresh Beat Band, The Halo Effect, Legendary Dudas, Monsters vs. Aliens, Mutt & Stuff, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Peter Rabbit, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Ride and The Troop have all been deleted.

Inside Amy Schumer first premiered on Comedy Central back in 2013 and originally ran on the network until 2016. Last year, however, Paramount+ revived the series for a sixth season, which is likely what led to the decision to remove the series from the platform, which is a move that’s become increasingly common in Hollywood in recent years.

Ironically, the cancellation of Inside Amy Schumer comes just a few weeks before the release of Barbie, which actually had Schumer attached to the lead roles many years ago before Warner Bros. decided that Margot Robbie was a better choice to play the iconic doll.
