Jelly Roll is already dating amid his ongoing divorce from Bunnie XO. Neither he nor she cheated on each other.
It sounds like an amicable split, even though it is one-sided.
The country music star wanted to set the record straight about his soon-to-be ex-wife after she did a full 54-minute podcast to address their plan for the future. There is nothing but love between them.
Nobody cheated and they still plan to have a child.
Bunnie XO says that she does not have to take the high road because there is nothing bad to say about Jelly Roll. It’s just the truth.
First and foremost, she wants to be clear that her cryptic post on Instagram was not a shot at him. She did not think anything of the choice of music, a Nickelback song, because it is one of her favorite band and it was trending on social media. She did not even recognize that it is a breakup song. That, and the post on her Instagram story, was nothing more than a coincidence.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO found out that TMZ was about to break the news after her posts had already gone live on her profile. It was not intentional. It had nothing to do with her relationship status, other than that she was back to feeling like herself on HRT.
The post about ‘Daddy Chaddy’ from a few weeks prior was also meaningless. It was actually a repost to keep her algorithm alive. Bunnie XO is not dating Chad Kroeger. She even issued an apology to Nickelback for getting them caught up in it by accident.
“There’s no f—— way in hell that would even be a thing and know I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad and none of that. Please […] I am not dating Chad Kroger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.”
Jelly Roll confirmed at his concert on Thursday night that Bunnie did not cheat on him.
Bunnie confirmed that Jelly Roll did not cheat on her.
“Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other and I’m excited to discover myself single and single and sober, which is crazy.”
The high-profile couple still plans to have a child together despite their split.
“I love him and you guys are going to be shocked to hear this but we’re still having a baby together.”
Bunnie detailed how the two plan to co-parent and raise their future child together. It has been in the works for awhile.
The divorce was NOT mutual but Bunnie XO gets the house.
When the news of their breakup first broke, it was presented as mutual. That is not the case. It was his call, not hers. An argument on Mother’s Day led to the filing.
“And so on Mother’s Day we had a little bit of an argument, which I don’t think the details are necessary…And in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, ‘Well, then file the f—— divorce papers.’”
Bunnie XO did not mean what she said. Jelly Roll actually went and did it.
“Was I blindsided and was this divorce mutual? No, it was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration.”
Perhaps that explains why he hired one of the most ruthless lawyer in Music City. Just in case. Because it was his idea.
However, Bunnie said that Jelly Roll has been amicable in the divorce thus far. She gets to keep the home they have been building on their compound in Nashville, and the animals, which means that the moving truck spotted on their property was for him.
“We bought a compound and we’ve been building our dream house for the past year. When I say we, I mean I. Because my husband was always like, Jay’s always like, ‘Just do whatever you want to do, honey.’ He didn’t care. He just wanted to move in, turn key, didn’t want to have a problem with it. And so Jay is so sweet that he’s giving me that compound in the divorce because he knows how special it is to me.”
It sounds like this process will go smoothly. We’ll see.
Jelly Roll is already dating.
Although the decision for divorce is only a month old, Jelly Roll is back on the market. He is looking to find his next partner.
“[Jelly Roll] is ready to date,” she said. “He’s rearing and ready to go. He’s all hopped up on testosterone. Let me tell you. And he’s ready to go. He’s even started dating, which is great, I love that. So his DMs are open. Go to his Instagram and go send that motherf—– a DM. Don’t be scared. Everybody go hit him up. Shoot your shot. I will be the ex-wife and we’ll have a great time.”
Bunnie XO has received a lot of attention in her DMs since the divorce was announced.
“Stella’s getting her groove back. Ever since the announcement, the fing amount of blue check marks in my fing DMs.”
She is not yet in the same place as Jelly Roll.
“And the crazy thing is I’m not even ready to hook up with a dude. I’m ready to just focus on myself, pour into myself. But my husband is ready to date.”
Both parties have stated that this is the only time that they are going to address the divorce. For now. Bunnie XO might write a book down the road. She promises to tell the full story if she does.
