Has legendary actor Jim Carrey been replaced with a clone that people are now catching onto?

Well, probably not. But the conspiracy theory is catching on after a recent appearance at an awards show in Paris set off alarm bells. Fans now claim that the “clone” or body double is playing Carrey, all while the real Carrey has passed away or disappeared somewhere.

If true, it would make Carrey’s recent revelation that he nearly quit his iconic role in How The Grinch Stole Christmas even more bizarre.

Fans Are Absolutely Convinced That Jim Carrey Has Been Cloned

Now, those of us who live in the real world are having some fun with this. Much like the Avril Lavigne body double theory. However, a lot of fans are genuinely convinced that the current Jim Carrey they’re seeing is not the same guy they saw previously.

The tragedy about Jim Carrey is that the real Jim wasn’t a satanist. The real Jim was killed for mocking satanists on television,’ one fan wrote on X. ‘They killed him and replaced him with a hateful soulless clone.”

Jim Carrey, the one whose eyes turned blue instead of brown, and his face became strange, and his hair bald,” wrote another.

Although I’m not sure where the bald part comes in?

It does appear that Carrey has had some cosmetic surgery or injections done. But hey, that’s Hollywood for ya! And if this is a fake Jim Carrey, I have to admit that New Jim put in killer performances in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series as Dr. Robotnik.

But Gen Z and Gen Alpha seem convinced of their theory. And they’re not letting it go!

This is not Jim Carrey, oh my gosh, ” another fan claimed. “He would not be doing any more carpets like this or pushing products. He quit all that because he hated it. How sad. They got him.”

Listen, according to Ecclesiastes, nothing can be known.

So hey, perhaps we are the crazy ones, and the conspiracy theorists are onto something. But I’m going to need a little more hard evidence here before I’m convinced.
