Joe Rogan Talks About Drugs He’d Do On Jeff Bezos’ $500M Mega Yacht And Perils Of Being Super Rich

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is currently one of the top 5 wealthiest people on planet earth.

With a (constantly fluctuating) estimated net worth of $114 billion, there is truly nothing that Jeff Bezos cannot afford.

A perfect example of this is the $500 million mega yacht that Bezos purchased. Jeff’s super yacht was previously only known by its project name, Y721, but has since been named Koru. It is a 417-foot yacht, the 2nd largest in the world, that’s currently just sitting in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This is because Koru is too big to fit under Rotterdamn’s historic De Hef bridge. There was a plan to temporarily dismantle the bridge to get Jeff Bezos’ yacht out but that was shelved after public outcry.

On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe was asked about Jeff Bezos’ yacht. Rogan immediately described the specific type of drugs he’d do on board and the quantities he’d bring with him. Joe then discussed how Jeff Bezos’ yacht is stuck in Rotterdam. Rogan finished it off by discussing how being as wealthy as Jeff Bezos means there’s always seeking out new toys to spend money on in pursuit of happiness.

The issue of Jeff Bezos’ yacht being stuck in Rotterdam is an interesting one. Bezos is wealthy enough to make the temporary dismantling of the bridge worth it for the city, but the citizens don’t care.

This is an instance of locals standing up to the 1% of the 1% of the 1%.

In addition to Jeff Bezos’ yacht, Joe Rogan has talked a lot about drugs lately

The potential and perceived psychological benefits of recreational psychedelic use is a favorite topic of Joe Rogan’s. He recently convinced world-renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson to experiment with mushrooms:

Here is what Neil deGrasse Tyson told us when he was a guest on BroBible‘s ‘Endless Hustle’ podcast about the role psychedelics have in understanding the universe:

“The human brain, when functioning perfectly, barely gets it right…You can buy whole books on optical illusions…And I’m thinking to myself, if we can collect simple line drawings that confound our human brain’s ability to understand what is objectively true, to then say, let’s add some chemicals in! Let’s add some to connect you deeper to nature. We’re barely connected to nature as it is. So no! I’m not on the line saying, let me get some psychedelics so I’m more plugged in to the operations of nature. I’m not that person.

If you need to feel like you’re deep, sure. But that doesn’t mean you’re actually deep…I’m not saying don’t get high, I’m saying don’t get high with the expectation that reality becomes clearer to you.”

I obviously cannot condone or encourage anyone to experiment with psilocybin mushrooms, magic mushrooms, ‘shrooms, or whatever else you might call them. But Joe Rogan makes some valid points about creativity and life experience. I’ll leave it at that.
