It appears that Joseph “Jojo” Diaz vs Devin Haney is going to go down in December.
Earlier this week Diaz’s fight with up-and-coming star Ryan Garcia fell through after Garcia injured his hand.

On the @DAZNBoxing show, @EddieHearn & @Realdevinhaney say they have offered @JosephDiazJr the same money he was offered to fight Garcia and have sent an offer to his management and promoter to fight Dec. 3 or 4. No excuses for this not to happen. None. #boxing

Immediately after the cancellation boxing promoter Eddie Hearn called on Diaz to take on Haney.

Hearn and Haney appeared on Saturday night’s Mikey Garcia-Sandor Martin card to put pressure on Diaz to take the fight.

Diaz then took to Twitter to say that he was taking the fight.
Imma fight Devin Haney in December y’all I promise. Like Ryan Garcia he hasn’t been tested and I’ll give Devin his first L.
