What an absolute banger of a headline to wake up to today from Washington Post reporter Jeff Stein. The ‘Bar Rescue‘ man himself, the guy responsible for getting me through just about every hangover in college I have ever had has told the President of The United States that he is highly considering a run at public office.

Now let’s do our best here to put political views aside because to be quite honest I am not sure what Taffer’s political beliefs are. All I know is that if you watch ‘Bar Rescue’ the way that I do, you want nothing more than to see The Taff Man take on any type of public office. If Taffer runs the White House the way he runs a bar or a kitchen the United States is going to absolutely thrive.
I have never seen somebody be able to break down the human spirit of a bar owner just to build them back up the way Taffer does. If a struggling dive bar selling chicken wings and mozzarella sticks at a 50 cent loss per order can turn things around the way they have in Taffer’s hands, so can America. Business would be absolutely booming in the Taffer era. This guy is a workhorse and lord have mercy on whatever candidate would try and get in this guy’s way during a debate.
While I am somewhat joking here, I am also 100% serious. I think the Taff man would do wonders for not just the bar scene, but the country, a state, or a city. A state of the union address from Taffer with his slicked-back hair and power suit on is all that I would ever need.
Can you imagine each American household having not one but two POS touch systems that he dishes out in every scene of ‘Bar Rescue’? This guy is a national treasure and if we are going to take a shot at another TV star, please let it be Jon Taffer.
