The Daily Wire's new movie is going viral for its unintentional comedy
Clips from The Daily Wire‘s new movie Run Hide Fight: Infidels — the standalone sequel to 2020’s Run Hide Fight — have been going viral on social media due to the film’s unintentional hilarity. Run Hide Fight: Infidels notably stars disgraced former MCU star Jonathan Majors.
Run Hide Fight: Infidels, which The Daily Wire reportedly spent $5 million to produce, was officially released on Wednesday, September 16, and immediately started making the rounds on social media for its absurdity. The film depicts an Islamist terrorist group hijacking a college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce Sharia law.
Jonathan Majors, who has not appeared in a Hollywood film since 2023, after being charged with one misdemeanor count of third-degree assault and one second-degree harassment violation, stars in the film as a Delta Force veteran who teams up with students and a security guard to fight back.

Within hours of the movie hitting the internet, a 3-minute-plus compilation of its most ridiculous moments popped up on social media and is genuinely one of the funniest things we’ve seen all week. While some of its filmed sequences may be going viral for their silliness, its themes are far from a laughing matter, as Variety described the film’s depiction of Muslims as being “deeply Islamophobic.”
“The whole movie is like that — not smart enough to actually explore the viewpoints or value systems of either Muslims or liberals, much less where they come from. Instead, the filmmaker becomes a megaphone for his producer, right-wing commentator Ben Shapiro, whose debate style tends to involve steamrolling his opponent with strawman arguments and acting surprised when they become exasperated.” [via Variety]
Not only is the movie being mocked, but it was also a bit of a mess to make, as Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell through a window during a March 2026 rehearsal after a loosely secured glass panel gave way, prompting union walkouts over safety concerns.
What makes Run Hide Fight: Infidels an even further subject for online mockery is the fact that its producer, Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro, famously began his political commentary career after he tried and failed to break into Hollywood as a screenwriter — a fact that commonly resurfaces whenever he criticizes “woke” mainstream films.
