‘Jurassic World’ Super Bowl Trailer Looks Terrifyingly Fantastic

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was the first of many highly-anticipated Super Bowl 2018 commercials this evening. The terror-fueled trailer came off more like a horror movie than the usual dinosaurs run amuck movie that we’re used to. This time the dinosaurs are creeping in your bedrooms like some kind of spooky demon. In the sequel to the box office blockbuster Jurassic World, Owen Grady played by Chris Pratt is in need of help from an old friend in a velociraptor named “Blue.” In Fallen Kingdom, the recreated dinosaurs are facing another extinction level event, this time an explosive volcano on the island of Isla Nublar.

The sequel to the massively successful Jurassic World is directed by J.A. Bayona and co-written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. The cast includes Bryce Dallas Howard back as Claire Dearing and Jurassic Park veteran Jeff Goldblum, who will reprise his original role as Dr. Ian Malcolm. The dino flick also stars Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, Toby Jones, Geraldine Chaplin, and Daniella Pineda. J.A. Bayona is directing Fallen Kingdom, Colin Trevorrow, who helmed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the sequel. Steven Spielberg is an executive producer.
