For one generation, Keanu Reeves is John Wick. For another, he’s Neo. And for another, he’s Johnny Utah and Jack Traven. But apparently, the 58-year-old action legend is also a rock star.

Reeves’ band Dogstar, which hasn’t released an album since the year 2000, not only released a new music video for their song “Everything Turns Around”, but also announced a brand new album and accompanying tour.

“We are so excited to re-introduce Dogstar with our new single ‘Everything Turns Around’. It feels like a fun summer song to us. It has an uplifting message and a positive vibe that hopefully makes your day a little bit lighter. It’s one of our favorite songs to play live and can’t wait to share it on our upcoming tour,” the band said in an official statement.

In addition to reigniting his passion for music, Reeves’ post-John Wick: Chapter Four life also sees the beloved actor attached to a variety of interesting roles.

Not only will 2024 see Reeves appear as Wick in the John Wick-starring spinoff Ballerina, but he’s also set to star alongside Jonah Hill’s new film Outcome (which he’s also directing) and Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut Good Fortune, which features Seth Rogen alongside Reeves and Ansari.

Reeves has also been linked to an adaptation of his graphic novel series BRZRKR and a sequel to Constantine, although it’s unclear what the status of those projects is at this time.

The band’s new album, titled ‘Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees’, has 10 tracks and will release on October 6. As for the band’s tour, it will begin in California on August 10 and will run through December, concluding on the 20th in Nashville.
