Is there anything worse than busybodies who have nothing better than to call the police over harmless nonsense? Take this adorable situation where a young boy was trying to earn an honest buck by selling ice cold beer. Of course there was some buttinsky who had to snitch to the cops about an 11-year-old holding a sign that said “ICE COLD BEER.” People need to mind their own business.

We take you to Brigham City, Utah, where an entrepreneurial young boy was trying to make a buck with a refreshment stand. Instead of the played-out lemonade stand, the 11-year-old was selling “ice cold beer.” The boy by the name of “Seth” proudly held up a sign that read “ICE COLD BEER” outside of his parents’ house. However, not everything was as it seemed.

Young Seth is a gifted marketing maven and his sign that said “ICE COLD BEER,” also had the word “root” written in very small print on the sign. So the sign read: “ICE COLD root BEER.” Brilliant. We’ve got ourselves a young Don Draper in our midst.

The nosey meddlers didn’t see the root beer part of the sign and called the police. When the cops arrived at Seth’s stand they saw that he was selling ice cold root beer.

Police loved the genius marketing ploy and took a photo with young Seth. The Brigham Police Department shared the photo of Seth to their Facebook page and it quickly went viral.

Seth’s parents told the police that the ICE COLD BEER sign worked so well that they “had to buy another cooler” for the root beer.

Stop harassing kids selling lemonade, root beer or actual beer. Mind your own business.

Now this story gives me an excuse to share this incredible comedy clip of a boy selling beer on The Man Show. They don’t make comedy like this anymore.
