Logan Paul is currently embroiled in a pet pig controversy after his former ‘mini’ pig Pearl who grew up to be large was rescued from her deathbed.
The Gentle Barn is an animal rescue sanctuary that posted a video about rescuing Logan Paul‘s former pet, Pearl. The video immediately exploded after hitting TikTok and it has taken less than 24 hours for Logan to address the accusations.
Logan is denying any wrongdoing. He took to Twitter to claim he responsible rehomed his pet pig Pearl when he moved to Puerto Rico and was unable to bring his pig.

She came to us with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus that has since been healed. She’s clearly been through so much trauma that we can’t begin to imagine, but she’s now safe with us at The Gentle Barn. From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer. People often buy “mini pigs” or “teacup pigs” for clout online, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they’re sadly discarded. In that video’s caption, The Gentle Barn rescue says they found Logan Paul’s former pet pig Pearl “alone in a field next to another pig who had passed away.” They say Peral came to them with “tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus.”
They were told that Pearl, Logan Paul’s former pig, was once owned by an influencer but didn’t name him by name. They believed ti was a classic case of someone buying a ‘teacup pig’ and being astonished when it turned out to be just a regular-sized pig. The Gentle Barn never named Logan Paul by name.
Logan Paul clears up pet pig controversy
Here is what Logan Paul said about his pig, rehoming her, and what he knew about Pearl’s situation:
Pearl was rehomed to an amazing Ranch that I visited in Santa Clarita when I moved to Puerto Rico. I was unable to bring her to the island.
She lived there happily for 10 months before the owner sold the Ranch. She was rehomed w/o my knowledge to the Farmer across the street.

As far as I know, the Farmer called the Gentle Barn to pick her up, & denies there was a second pig — Pearl was transferred alone.

Ultimately, this will all be forgotten within a few days. It seems likely Logan Paul will make a donation, or his haters/fans will help support Pearl the Pig at her sanctuary. After that, people will move on.
