Luke Voit Took A 92 MPH Fastball To The Chin And Walked It Off Like A Butterfly Landed On His Face

The lumbering 6′3″, 225-lbs Luke Voit is a big boy and he proved it on Saturday when he was smashed in the face with a 92 MPH fastball and actually stayed in the game.

Voit has been a godsend for the New York Yankees this season with a .276 batting average, .388 on-base percentage with 18 homers and 53 RBIs when the Bronx Bombers needed it most when their sluggers missed most of the first half with injuries.

In their Saturday afternoon game against the Colorado Rockies, the Yankees’ first baseman was drilled in the face with a 92 MPH and didn’t even flinch. Luke didn’t flail to the ground or anything. He looked most unaffected by being hit by the pitch and simply walked down to first base after being struck right in the jaw.

It looks like the baseball suffered more pain than Luke Voit.

Luke Voit somehow not only stayed in the game, but also scored a run. At the start of the sixth inning, the Yankees are currently leading the Rockies at Yankee Stadium by the score of 9-0. Aaron Boone wisely took Voit out of the game for precautionary reasons.

Luke Voit is just one of the many New York Yankees who are savages.
