It has been eight long years since the Entourage movie came out, the final chapter of the show that ran for 8 seasons on HBO and which we covered extensively here on BroBible throughout the years.

Recently, there’s been some chatter about a potential Entourage reboot. Normally, when it comes to reboots I say let the past be the past but the chance at an Entourage reboot has certainly piqued my interest.

Leah Bitsky of PageSix recently caught up with Mark Wahlberg at the opening of Tao’s restaurant Cathédrale at the Aria in Vegas over the weekend. She asked him about the latest Entourage rumors and how Wahlberg would feel about getting involved.

Mark Wahlberg told PageSix “I don’t know if that’s going to happen but I would definitely support it.” When pressed on his thoughts about a reboot, Wahlberg added “I was always sad to see the show end” and clarified that ‘he isn’t certain if there have been any real conversations about a reboot.’

Wahlberg also stated that he believes the cast members including Jeremy Piven, Adrien Grenier, Kevin Connolly, and others would be in favor of a reunion.

The rumors of a potential Entourage reboot picked up after Jeremy Piven pitched his idea of how it would work to E! News. Piven said he’d like to explore how Ari Gold would ‘navigate this climate’ in Hollywood after all that’s happened over the past 10 years.

He added “It would be fun to investigate where all these people would be today. There’s been so much that has happened since then that it’d be a very fertile ground to explore.”

It seems like just yesterday that Entourage was on TV with weekly celebrity cameos from stars like Chuck Liddell, who called it his favorite cameo of all time.
