Megyn Kelly blasted Alex Cooper over her comments on the Cornell 7 case
The Cornell 7 case had led to women in media turning against each other, as Megyn Kelly blasted Alex Cooper’s comments on the situation. Kelly even went as far as saying that Cooper bears responsibility for creating an environment in which such an incident could allegedly occur.
Speaking on her eponymous show, former Fox News talking head Megyn Kelly ripped into podcaster and influencer Alex Cooper and accused her of “endangering” young women on college campuses with her rhetoric.
In response to Cooper saying that all women are Jane Doe in a certain sense, Kelly snidely called her “Jane Hoe.”
Megyn Kelly called Alex Cooper ‘Jane Hoe’ and accused her of endangering young women on college campuses with her content
“The sex podcast lady is now speaking out about the ‘Cornell 8’ [sic]. The sex podcaster who wants you to give it to her anally on the first date now says she is Jane Doe. More like ‘Jane Hoe’!” Kelly said of Cooper on her show.
“She is raunchy and absolutely classless. That’s Alex Cooper, that’s her brand, that’s how she became a multimillionaire, so she can shut the f— up when it comes to advising young women dealing with issues on college campuses that she helped create,” Kelly continued over clips of various sexual comments made by Cooper on her podcast over the years.
“Being enabled by the so-called ‘celebrities’ who go on that podcast and pretend she’s a normal messenger — how dare you take the high ground when it comes to the position that young women on college campuses are in. You have endangered them all.”

Calling out Cooper is just one of many ways in which Kelly has engaged with the Cornell 7 in recent weeks, and has seemingly taken the side of the accused.
On her podcast, Kelly argued that the media should not shield the identity of the accuser while the accused men are publicly named, speculated that the woman may have enjoyed the attention, and made critical comments about her appearance. She also called out pop star Olivia Rodrigo for her support of Jane Doe, too.
Kelly’s current stance on the case is particularly ironic considering that her entirely justified takedown of Fox News CEO Roger Ailes — Kelly reported Allies’ sexual harassment, encouraged other victims to speak out, and cooperated with investigators after former anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Ailes in July 2016 — was essentially the “big bang” of the #MeToo movement in the late 2010s.
