Do you know the saying “some people have all the luck?” Well, it’s true, especially when it comes to playing the lottery.

For example, which one of these is worse, I mean, more fantastic?

Last August, a Brooklyn man named Wayne Murray won $10 million playing the Black Titanium lottery game.

A little over a year later, Murray won another $10 million playing the New York Lottery’s 200X scratch-off game.

Both of his winning tickets were purchased at H&A Gas & Convenience located at 4102 Ave. H in Brooklyn.

He ended up taking home a single lump sum of $6,122,400 after withholding – the same amount he took home last August.

“It feels very humbling and liberating,” he said after claiming his first $10 million prize.

Wonder how he feels now?

One person out there is feeling suspicious.

Desiree Fortini-Craft of Hyde Park, Mass. won a $1 million lottery prize in 2006 on a Mass Lottery instant ticket.

17 years later, on Dec. 1, 2023, she was back at Mass Lottery headquarters to collect a $25 million lottery prize.

Fortini-Craft, who won the big jackpot playing the Billion Dollar Extravaganza $50 instant game, told lottery officials that she knew she had the $25 million winning ticket a few weeks ago, but rather than immediately claim it she stored it in a secure place then took on a trip to Aruba before claiming her prize.

She chose the lump sum one-time payment of $16,250,000 (before taxes) and plans to to use her winnings to take another trip to Aruba for Christmas, pay off her three daughters’ student loans, make some big family purchases, and buy a new car.

Oh yeah, after collecting the $25 million jackpot she went back to the same store where she bought that winning lottery ticket, purchased a scratcher and won another $500.

They aren’t the only people with all the luck though.

Just this year, one woman won $1 million playing the lottery twice in two months.

A Maryland family won their fifth lottery prize worth at least $50,000 each in five years!

And another man in Maryland won his third $50,000 lottery prize in the span of 11 months, all using the same numbers.
