If you’re a music fan who feels like Morgan Wallen is seemingly in the news every day, then you’re probably right. Wallen, whose 2025 album “I’m The Problem” is still full of songs at the top of the charts, is almost always in the headlines.

But it’s not always for something positive, and that was the case again this week.

The oft-embattled country music star went viral on Friday night when he flipped over his piano in anger after audio difficulties during his song “Sand In My Boots.”

Morgan Wallen Kept The Concert Rolling After Flipping Piano

Video of the incident, which was filmed by fan Eva Toshkova and posted on her TikTok page, shows Wallen trying to perform an acoustic version of the song.

He then stopped mid-way, turned toward the piano, and shoved it over onto the stage.

According to concertgoers, Wallen couldn’t hear the piano in his in-ear monitors, which meant that he also couldn’t hear what he was playing. Despite that, fans and commenters say they were all able to hear the piano, but clearly, Wallen had had enough.

Other fans claimed that the audio was poor throughout the show at Denver’s Empower Field, home of the Broncos.

Hey @MorganWallen, great show, but the sound system sucked. Couldn’t understand a word you were singing. Just saying. Please try to do better,” one fan wrote on X.

Wallen’s latest incident comes almost a year to the day that he was heavily criticized for storming off the set of Saturday Night Live.

But it’s not all bad publicity for the country star. He also donated $1.2 million recently to upgrade the baseball stadium at his high school. Wallen was a member of a state championship-winning team at the Tennessee high school in 2010.
