Morgan Wallen announced on Tuesday morning that he will be back out on the road in 2024. The world’s biggest country music artist will kick off his ‘One Night At A Time’ tour on April 4 before his return to a place that once put him at the center of controversy.

On April 20, 2024 (blaze), Morgan Wallen will play Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at the University of Mississippi. It is the home field of Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels football team. It is also the very same venue at which Wallen (very briefly) turned fans against him with a last-minute cancellation.

Wallen was scheduled to play two sold-out nights at ‘The Vaught’ last April. He played the first show.

However, just minutes before his set was scheduled to start during the second night, Wallen cancelled. The openers had already played. Everybody was already in their seats.

Wallen never took the stage and fans all over the world immediately melted down. Some of them even vowed to never listen to his music again.

Even though tickets were refunded at the point of sale, he still received an egregious lawsuit for damages beyond the price of tickets— like travel, lodging, food and drink. Wallen was canceled for about 48 hours.

The international country music superstar ultimately, apologized, cited vocal cord issues and later canceled more than a month of his tour for vocal rest. Wallen’s concert was canceled and tickets were refunded, but Ole Miss still made “several million” dollars in revenue.

Now, exactly one year later, the Rebels will be able to profit from Wallen again. He is set to make his long-awaited return to the Magnolia State during his upcoming tour.
