With over 13 million real dates generated using their On-Demand Dating feature, the folks over at Clover’s thought it would be interesting to analyze data from 3.5 million of their users to see where you should go on a first date.

The data shows that Starbucks is the clear winner and that men prefer to meet their dates at restaurants while women prefer to get together at coffee shops. When compared to their previous study, Clover found Central Park in New York suffered the most significant drop, going from number 4 to number 23, while Blaze Pizza had the biggest jump from being ranked previously at 21st to being ranked 11th today.

“We were a little surprised to see so many popular fast food chains and convenience stores appearing in the top 30, perhaps this is a direct result of more places adopting coffee shop style experiences,” said the researchers at Clover.

One more key highlight of the study that is not at all surprising is the fact that 70% of the top 10 places people prefer to go on a first date serve alcohol.

So, if you want to know where you should take your next date with someone new, check out the top 30 first date hot spots below.
