According to new research by the money folks over at Forbes, the combined net worth of 23 of the 26 2020 Presidential candidates is almost $4.8 billion.

If you remove the two most wealthy candidates, Donald Trump at $3.1 billion and Tom Steyer at $1.6 billion, the average net worth per candidate is still $12.9 million.

By law, all presidential candidates must file financial disclosure reports. Forbes then took those reports (candidates John Hickenlooper, William Weld and Wayne Messam have not filed yet), added in assets owned by spouses and dependent children, plus any holdings or debts not listed on the filings, and voila! Forbes’ list of every 2020 Presidential candidate’s net worth.

Forbes also reached out to every candidate in an effort to learn more about each of their finances and ranked them on their transparency from “0 (lips sealed) to 5 (full disclosure)”.
