The spirit of Samuel L. Jackson’s iconic B-movie Snakes on a Plane lives on, as a trailer for a film titled No Way Up has been released.

Now, while No Way Up may not have a title as audacious as Snakes on a Plane or Sharknado, it does have a premise that will make its predecessors in animal-based action movie absurdity proud, as the film sees sharks unleashed onto a commercial flight.

While Snakes on a Plane was an action comedy, though, No Way Up appears to take itself more seriously as a thriller.

Here is the official synopsis for No Way Up:

Trapped underwater when their plane crashes into the ocean, survivors must find a way to escape as sharks start to circle the wreckage.

No Way Up is directed by Claudio Fäh and stars Colm Meaney, Sophie McIntosh, Will Attenborough, Jeremias Amoore, Phyllis Logan, David Samartin, Jeremias Amoore, Grace Nettle, James Carroll Jordan, and more.

The most notable actor in the project is 70-year-old Irish actor Colm Meaney, who is known for his work on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Layer Cake, Get Him to the Greek, Law Abiding Citizen, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and more.
