This week, Odell Beckham, Jr. is the next sports celebrity to take the plunge into Kevin Hart’s freezing cold ice tub for an interview on his web series Cold As Balls for his LOL Network.
And as is always the case, the interview spins off in a direction that we have never seen taken with the guest (like it did multiple times with Skip Bayless recently) thanks to Hart’s “unique” interviewing style.
At a multiple points during Hart’s interview with OBJ, life for him and his family at LSU came up revealing a couple of interesting stories.
First, as many know, his dad played football at LSU and his mom ran track there. It’s also the place when Odell Beckham, Jr. was born, pretty much sealing his destiny as a future Tiger, much to the shock of Hart.

“Your mother’s water broke on the campus,” said a stunned Hart. “You were signed that day.”
Later in the interview, Beckham revealed that not only did both his parents play sports at LSU, his dad’s roommate there was none other than Shaquille O’Neal.
Among the many other topics covered were OBJ’s unique hairstyle, his famous one-handed catch, the fact that Odell was invited to try out for the US Mens’ National Soccer Team youth system at age 13, but ultimately had to pass to further pursue football, Beckham’s reaction to the first time he heard his name referenced in a Drake song, and much more.
