Rappers are traditionally known for their fiscal responsibility. My man DMX is facing five years in the slammer after pleading guilty to $1.7 million in tax evasion. Xzibit attempted to file for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2010 when he reportedly owed more than $900,000 in back taxes. Damnit, even the legendary MC Hammer filed for bankruptcy in 1996 when he was reportedly $13 million in debt.  You get the point, and the point is ‘mo money, mo problems.’

And then there’s this fella named Offset from the new-age rap group Migos. The 26-year-old Georgia rapper just bought a $70,000 Ric Flair-inspired chain from the CEO of his label, Pierre “Pee” Thomas.

According to TMZ, the Nature Boy jewelry is made by Wafi Lalani at Jewelry Unlimited in ATL and consists of up of 27 carats on the chain and 25 on the pendant.

Ric Flair took notice.

Ric Flair is an absolute God amongst rappers, being referenced in songs from Kanye West to Young Thug to Gucci Mane to Meek Mill.

The purchase was likely to commemorate Offset’s new song with 21 Savage titled “Ric Flair Drip”

God damn can Ric Flair be any cooler? I mean, the dude has boned about 70% of the United States population. What can’t this dude do??

Flair ‘2020.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
