WATCH: ‘Once Upon A Deadpool’ Is The Heartwarming Holiday Movie That Kidnapped Fred Savage To Fight Cancer

Deadpool is back with a jolly holiday movie that is sure to warm your cockles. Once Upon a Deadpool is a PG-13 edit of Deadpool 2 that you can watch without being put on the naughty list, plus you’ll be on the nice list if you see this movie because proceeds go to a great cause.

Once Upon a Deadpool has a “childlike innocence” that will have deleted scenes and comes to theaters this holiday season. The movie stars Fred Savage whether he wants to or not. Deadpool kidnapped Fred so that he can recreate his character as the young boy enjoying hearing stories from his grandpa in The Princess Bride. The only problem is that Fred Savage was an actor in 1987’s The Princess Bride and he is now 42-years-old. That’s why Deadpool had to kidnap Fred and strap him into the bed à la Kathy Bates in Misery.

The best part about the edited movie will help fight cancer. Ryan Reynolds said Fox has been asking for a PG-13 Deadpool movie for years and he finally agreed. “I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity,” Reynolds said. “Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining.”

For every ticket sold, $1 will go to the charity Fuck Cancer, which will be known as “Fudge Cancer” during the 12 days of Once Upon a Deadpool that the movie is in theaters this holiday season. Savage said that “while my participation in this film was anything but voluntary, I am happy to learn that Fudge Cancer will be the beneficiary of this shameless cash grab.”

Once Upon a Deadpool dashes into theaters from December 12th until December 24th and will star Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, and Julian Dennison.
