Good news, folks. Based on director Andy Muschietti’s Instagram account, it looks like they may have begun filming on IT: Chapter Two.

If you have read the excellent 1986 novel by Stephen King that the movie is based upon, then you know that the next film will take place 27 years after the first one and the kids will be all grown up.

However, thanks to the many flashbacks King used in the book the kids will still be a presence in the second movie, something that becomes very apparent after seeing this photo Muschietti posted to Instagram with the hashtags “#itchapter2 #itmovie” and the caption, “Wake up, losers. Derry is calling.”

Meanwhile, as Muschietti, the kids and maybe even Jessica Chastain are beginning production on the sequel, a creepy new documentary will be delving into the original 1990 miniseries which starred Tim Curry as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

The documentary, called Pennywise: The Story of IT, will take a deep dive into the making of the 1990 production with over 700 never-before-seen photos and videos from the set of the miniseries. The filmmakers also interviewed more than 50 members of the cast and crew, including Curry.

In addition to all of that, according to Screen Rant, the documentary will also explore the impact of the Pennywise character and coulrophobia, the real-life fear of clowns. Awesome.

Check out the trailer for Pennywise: The Story of IT, which is scheduled for release sometime in the summer of 2018, below.

IT: Chapter Two comes out on September 6, 2019.
