The Pentagon released its fifth batch of declassified UFO files on Friday as part of the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE). Among the 41 new files that were released are several images and artistic renderings of UFO encounters including one involving a former Pentagon employee and his wife.

According to the witness, he and his spouse were sitting on their back porch shortly before 11 p.m. when they saw a triangle-shaped UFO fly over their Colorado home, “possibly as low as 300 feet” in October 2023.

The object was reportedly “completely silent,” and the Pentagon employee said he “did not feel any rumble, static or any other effects from the object as it passed over him.”

The UFO “looked like a perfect triangle… without any extra wings, fins, or any bubble for the engine housing,” according to the summary report. It also “appeared almost see-through,” with “what appeared to be a haze or distortion around it… as if you were looking thru mist; and that there were ripples like you were looking at an object that is underwater.”

The man also claimed to have seen a “band of silverish blue light” as the UFO moved away from the couple, and he speculated that this might have been a result of the propulsion system.

He reported that the UFO “covered a large distance” in a “straight path” at a “consistent elevation.” However, it abruptly changed to an almost vertical position without altering its route or elevation just before he and his wife lost sight of it.

Another triangle-shaped UFO and a strange story out of Brazil

In another case involving a triangle-shaped UFO above a U.S. military base in Afghanistan, two pilots encountered a silent, 500-foot triangular object over Bagram Airfield. They characterized the UFO as an equilateral triangle that glided silently across the sky at a constant altitude and speed without any lights. According to the pilot, the object was moving at 173 mph.

One of the pilots later observed unexplained lights approximately 10 times on commercial flights starting in October 2023. The lights reportedly changed color in cycles that lasted anywhere from ten seconds to one minute. Some proceeded in straight lines or abruptly altered course, while others stayed motionless.

Perhaps the most bizarre file involved a metal sphere that allegedly hit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1963, leaving a 13-foot-deep hole. According to reports, the orb had window-shaped openings covered with thick glass and contained a human figure clad in bulky garments with unintelligible lettering.
