Guess what? Something happened between Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson over the weekend. Shocking, right? Grande reportedly rushed to the SNL studio on Saturday following his alarming tweet. However, Pete allegedly wanted no part of Ariana when she arrived at the NBC’s 30 Rock building and refused to see her.
TMZ report sources connected to Davidson and NBC claim that Pete instructed security to not allow his former fiancé to enter the building when she rushed over to check on him. In a now-deleted tweet from Saturday, Ariana wrote: “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”

Ariana was worried about Pete after he posted an alarming message on Instagram Saturday morning: “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last.” This troubling post triggered New York police to do a welfare check at Pete’s home. In the recent episode of Saturday Night Live, Davidson made only one extremely brief appearance to introduce Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson.
According to a source, there was a reason why Pete was barely on this week’s episode. “He didn’t show up for dress rehearsal, so he was cut out of some of the sketches.”
Before Pete deleted his Instagram account (again), he also thanked Kanye West for calling out Ariana Grande for her “insensitive” tweet about mental health.

Machine Gun Kelly, who is good friends with Pete, flew to New York City on Sunday. “I’m in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he’s good, I promise. can’t have my boy in the darkness like that,” MGK tweeted. They were seen hugging outside an NYC hotel.
