Boring old Peter (Rob Delaney) from the final Deadpool 2 trailer is actually more than likely a very interesting X-Force member from the comics with some significant powers. Seriously.

Yes, not only does Peter have a wicked cool Twitter account, he also might be one of the key members of Deadpool’s “super duper f*cking group.” No, I am not kidding.

Something the we didn’t connect at first when we began following Peter on Twitter (@PeterW_1974) was that his last name begins with the letter W. This is significant for a couple of reasons. (1) Of course, Ryan Reynolds and crew want to have some fun with their fans by planting little Easter eggs, and (2) this particular Easter egg probably means that Peter is actually secret agent Pete Wisdom, who has the mutant ability to throw plasma blades of energy from his fingertips. Oh, and he was also a member of X-Force in the comics.

From Wikipedia

Peter Wisdom has the power to absorb ambient heat and solar radiation, and release the absorbed energy from his fingertips as “hot knives” of pure thermal energy, said to be as “hot as the surface of the sun”. He can leap from high distances and use the thermal energy to slow his descent. He can fire his hot knives as projectiles, or leave them attached to his fingertips like claws for close physical combat. He also has years of experience in espionage from working for Black Air and British Intelligence.

So yeah, this guy…

Could actually turn out to be pretty badass. Go figure.

“Peter” also did an interview, again, seriously, with Birth.Movies.Death that was very funny and very Deadpool-esque that you can check out here.
