Watch This Ballsy Poker Player Risk All Of His $60,000 Tournament Winnings On One Roulette Spin

Jake Cody is an accomplished professional poker player from the UK. The 29-year-old claims he ditched studying psychology in college after depositing $10 on an online poker site. He says to this day, he hasn’t made a further deposit since, and solely plays off his winnings. The former European Poker Player of the Year and the Rookie of the Year completed the coveted triple crown by winning his first WSOP Bracelet in 2011 and his total live tournament winnings exceed $4.1 million.

Over the weekend, Cody won nearly $60,000 in a high-stakes poker tournament in the United Kingdom. The average person would get himself a nice bottle of champagne, the best steak in town, and maybe spring for a porno in his hotel room.

But Jake Cody is a horse of a different color. The Team PokerStars Pro player decided to risk it all on black at the roulette wheel. Dozens of people crowded around the table to see if Cody would go home with $120,000 or absolutely nothing.

The scene was absolutely electric.

The ball landed on Black 22 and Jake Cody pocketed $120,000. God what a rush that must’ve been.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
